JUMP: Assemble Jungling Guide
JUMP:Assemble Jungle Guide Guide is one of the JUMP: Assemble Text Guides. The jungle consists of the parts of the map between the lanes. Its characterized by the lack of vision or dense Fog of War. Neutral—not aggressive unless attacked—creeps are located in the jungle.
Jungling involves three specialized responsibilities of the jungler. These contrast with laners', whose primary purpose is to farm minions and defend their lane's structures in the earlier stages of the game.
- Farming the jungle, meaning the slaying of monster camps.
- Focusing on securing epic monster objectives, which are beneficial to the entire ally team.
- And lastly, because of the jungle's extent, generally assisting and influencing lanes and helping with enemy character fights.
Jungling Basics in JUMP: Assemble[edit source]
The main role of a jungler is to maximize resource gains. The jungle offers a lot of gold and Experience that can be accessed through slaying the monsters that spawn and respawn in predetermined locations on the map. With a lone player dedicating themself to accruing them, more resources can then be collected in lanes by the laners, rather than sharing them with another teammate. This is especially important for solo laners, who can possibly earn the highest amount of gold and experience from creeps on the team.
Map structure naturally leads to specific paths that should be prioritized on order to maximize kill ratio and get most exp and gold per minute. It also effect which side objective jungler can take. Optimizing junglers' enemy camps clearing speed is extremely important for fast growth and increasing the pressure on the enemy team as a result.
The jungler, much like any roaming role, can undertake the initiating of ambushes against enemies in order to overpower the enemy in numbers. Ambushes against laners within the lanes are called ganks, and the lack of natural vision in the jungle heavily facilitates this. This means laners also have to be mindful and avoid ganks through proper vision and zone control, or defend against them through various means such as a counter-gank.
Since jungler is a roaming role, its only natural that ambushing enemies together with allies would be one of its main tasks. Properly utilizing line of sight and surprising the opponents with a burst damage should be an important skill for a jungler.
Its also worth noticing that Retribution Battle Skill will allow to drastically speed up creeps killing speed and might help to get an edge over opponent jungler.
Jungle Camp Farming Rotation[edit source]
In order to optimize the farming efficiency its important to set up proper kill order of creep camps. That will allow to lower the downtime and increase character's growth speed.
1. Wolf
2. Bird / Dinosaur
3. Blue / Red Dragon
- Blue Buff: It will stun the target after hitting them three times, whether physically or with a skill. Also provides mana regeneration.
- Red Buff: Grants true damage of 50 and reduces movement speed by 20% for 2 seconds.
4. Buyon: Grants a buff with 1-3 stacks
- Saiyan Ape: Provides a barrier and increases magic and physical attack by 8%.
5. Boneling: You can summon this monster to attack turrets; it dies after attacking.
- Adult Boneling: It uses a flamethrower attack and is more durable than the initial version for the first 9 minutes of the game
At the start of the game, the best option it to usually go for the first neutral (1) because it spawns first. Then, move on to the second (2) for the buffs and clear the third (3). Afterward, head to the duel or training lane to engage with or attempt to eliminate the enemy.
If the attempt to kill the enemy fails, proceed to the mid lane and then return to the second neutral (2) for either the blue or red buff, followed by clearing minions at locations 1 and 3.
