JUMP: Assemble Son Goku Beginners Guide
JUMP:Assemble Son Goku Beginners Guide Guide is one of the JUMP: Assemble Text Guides. Son Goku is a very potent character in terms of the damage and survivability, moreover its one of 3 first characters that player can pick along with Naruto Uzumaki and Monkey D. Luffy. That means that mastering his skillset is important for everyone, since he will be a regular pick for the opponents.
Son Goku Playstyle Overview[edit source]
True to his name, Goku is a brawler. His playstyle is getting in close to your opponent, and bursting them down before they can even blink. He has a good amount of utility thanks to his ranged and dash move, as well as his Kaioken, which enhances your entire moveset. His defense also increases the more he gets hit, thanks to his passive. This is coupled with the fact that your damage increases by 15 every time you get killed, giving you a deadly character that has the capability to eviscerate you, while getting stronger in every hit he takes. However, he is not without his downsides. Goku is very susceptible to disables, which locks him in place and destroys all of his options. He is also somewhat vunerable to ranged attackers, which is at least alleviated thanks to his dash move. Goku also has no way to heal outside of Rising Spirit, which means that he can very easily die in a 1v3 situation. This makes it very risky to be on the map at a lower health percent. Overall, Goku is an "all in" brawler character who relies on out sustaining or over powering opponents. He can be played in virtually every lane, but I recommend going into the jungle to have the level advantage over your opponents, which you can use to get some kills, thus enabling you to snowball your way to history.
Son Goku Skillset Guide[edit source]
[[File:Son Goku Rising Spirit.png|left|30px]|thumb]} Rising Spirit is best used as a way to chase opponents, as well as finishing them. It can also be used as a heal, so use it on a random creep in the jungle when you need health.
Ignited Spirit is an enhanced version of the previous move, and it serves all the same purposes. The move enhancement doesn't last for long however, so be sure to use it as soon as possible to optimize your damage.
Iron Elbow is a very versatile move, as it can be used in a multitude of ways. You can use it as a get away tool, a chase tool, or you can optimally use it in the middle of a combo. However, the way you should use it depends on your situation, so use it at your own discrepancy.
(Tip: It can also be used to escape a turret if it targets you.)
Sky Buster is an amazing combo tool, and can even be used to finish opponents who have escaped to a turret. The stun at the end means it's best to use a move or a combo once the move finishes.
Kamehamehais your only ranged attack, and your main damage move. It can be used to snipe out opponents escaping, or you can also use it point blank to rack up the damage. The hitbox of the move is somewhat generous, so try your best to blast opponents from afar.
Kaio-ken Kamehameha is an even better version of the Kamehameha, it is best used to stop opponents from escaping, due to the move reducing the movement speed of those struck by it. It retains the damage, so all of it's other uses also remain the same.
Kaio-ken activates all of the moves mentioned above, and are otherwise unusable without this move active. It's best to use this when you want to quickly kill an opponent and in a desperate situation, such as 1v3 or a teamfight. The loss of stats at the end mean it's best to try and get away from the opponent as the move ends, in order not to caught while he recovers.
Spirit Bomb is an extremely powerful move that takes a while to charge, and is very vulnerable to being interrupted. It is best to charge in a bush, as it obscures you and the bomb. It is best to launch it during a team fight, where a lot of people can be hit and killed by the massive ball. It can also be used to attack the Minions, so do with that what you will.

Son Goku Additional Tips[edit source]
Goku has access to two moves that increase your strength, namely the Kaioken and Ignited Spirit. However, he can be further boosted by the "Berserk" spell, which buffs all of your damage. Putting all of these together will blow Goku's damage through the roof. You should put it in a specific order, activating Kaioken first, then Ignited Spirit, and then the Berserk spell. However, you should beware that this mode only lasts for a measly 10-15 seconds, so be sure to do as much damage as you can in that time frame. It's also a risky maneuver, as it puts your spell and two moves on cooldown. To alleviate this, spam your basic autos, and then use Sky Buster or the Kamehameha as finishers. If you utilize this tech properly, the damage will be able to reach levels of a hypothetical "Kaioken x20" which should decimate the enemies.
